Screener comparison
AI stock screeners: TradingView, Finviz and more
Compare stock discovery, custom alerts, AI analysis and dashboards by workflow. An honest look at GSDAQ’s strengths, data delays and alternatives, including Koyfin.
Choose a research workflow before an AI label
An AI stock screener can mean a filter builder, a language-based search interface, an explanation tool or a predictive model. Those jobs need different evidence. Start with the task: finding a short list, understanding why it qualifies, monitoring a change or testing a trading rule. GSDAQ is most relevant to the explanation-and-monitoring steps. It is not a fully real-time screener or a general-purpose strategy backtesting terminal.
What the official product descriptions establish
We checked these official pages on September 12, 2026. GSDAQ writes this comparison and sells subscriptions. We reviewed documentation and our own implementation, not every paid competitor tier or a simultaneous speed/accuracy benchmark. The table is a selection of documented capabilities; an omitted feature does not mean it is unavailable.
On narrow screens, scroll the table sideways. Keyboard users can focus the table and use the arrow keys.
| Service | Documented capabilities | Checks before choosing |
|---|---|---|
| GSDAQ Source | AI explanations, strategy lists, custom alerts and dashboard widgets | Delayed data; not a general-purpose condition builder or automated order service. |
| TradingView Source | Stock/ETF and other screeners with filters and chart workflows | Check the screener, plan and market-data access for your particular conditions. |
| Finviz Elite Source | Advanced filters, real-time data and screener-match email/push notifications | These are documented Elite features; do not assume the same access on Free. |
| TrendSpider Source | Condition-based scanner, strategy tester and multi-factor alerts | Evaluate its rule design and testing workflow; historical testing is not a future-return guarantee. |
| Koyfin Source | Custom dashboards combining multiple watchlists and data tables | Check the data coverage and layout you need; custom dashboards are not exclusive to GSDAQ. |
Where GSDAQ adds value after a screen
A qualifying ticker often creates more questions: what changed in earnings, is the move broad or company-specific, and what should I monitor next? GSDAQ brings dated news, strategy-list context, chart indicators, historical-pattern scenarios and AI explanations into the same app. You can ask for a supported alert or a dashboard widget in ordinary language. The useful advantage is a connected research routine, particularly for readers switching between English and Korean—not demonstrated superior returns. GSDAQ: product overview
Where another tool may serve you better
Our assessment: TradingView is a stronger starting point when the priority is programmable chart conditions; Finviz deserves a look for broad table-based filtering; TrendSpider for designing and testing technical conditions; Koyfin for dense cross-asset dashboards. GSDAQ does not claim their full filter catalog, scripting environment or backtesting features. Choosing GSDAQ for explanations can coexist with using another service for screening or chart work.
AI and custom alerts are not exclusive to GSDAQ
TradingView documents price, technical and watchlist alerts, including Pine-based conditions. TrendSpider documents AI-assisted indicator creation and indicator explanations. Koyfin documents customizable data tables and multiple watchlists. These are real alternatives, not empty comparison columns. For GSDAQ, evaluate whether the explanations, supported rule types and English/Korean workflow fit your research habits. TradingView: alert types and delivery

Compare timeliness and results separately
GSDAQ’s news, quotes, analysis and alerts can lag, and a newly requested stock analysis may remain pending. Selecting a five-minute candle does not guarantee five-minute delivery. Ask each service about coverage, plan entitlements and data timestamps. To compare forecasting quality, specify the same horizon, universe and out-of-sample period; to compare returns, add execution and costs. We have not established a live accuracy or investment-return advantage over these products.
